OXYDUE BARRIQUE®
A portable system for precise oxygen dosing in wine barrels.
In just a few minutes, it provides the oxygen needed for proper ageing management and mild aeration.
It can also be used for macro-oxygenation of must.
This system helps stabilise colour, soften tannins, and prevent reductive aromas during barrel ageing.
THE KIT INCLUDES
- oxygen pressure reducer;
- pressure gauge;
- ceramic membrane diffuser;
- 6 mm connection tube (approx. 20 m);
- 220 V power supply (optional 24 V);
- optional timer and telescopic wand.
REQUIRED TO SET IT UP
- oxygen cylinder with 0–10 bar regulator;
- 6 mm connecting tube.
HOW IT WORKS
- Connect the system to the cylinder and diffuser.
- Turn on the oxygen supply and set the desired pressure.
- At a minimum pressure of 2 bar (1 Nl/min), the supply saturates a standard 225-liter barrel with approximately 2 ml/liter of oxygen within 30 seconds.
