DECAGEL
Description:
Very pure alimentary gel specific for dynamic separation through decanters.
Developed with Perwine, the spinoff of the University of Verona, Decagel® is a water-soluble “pigskin” gelatine, with high electric charge and good gelling power. Due to these characteristics, it is the best suited product for dynamic separations using horizontal centrifuges for rapid and effective clearing of musts.
It produces a lightly opalescent homogenous solution, capable of being distributed proportionally by automatic in-line dosing systems.
The dose of Decagel® depends on the level of clearing wanted upon removal from the Alfa Laval Foodec Centrifuge system.
It does not originate from genetically modified organisms (GMO-free) and is free from the risk of BSE.
COMBO APPROACH®
Due to its characteristics it works perfectly in synergy with Decazym®, preferably following a preparation treatment of the crushed grapes with Decazym®.
